    Dr. Tamara Goldsby

    Dr. Tamara Goldsby is a Clinical Research Psychologist at UC San Diego and Research Faculty at the California Institute for Human Science. A pioneer in sound healing research, her groundbreaking study published in the Journal of Evidence-Based Integrative Medicine helped establish sound healing as a credible, evidence-based wellness practice.

    Her work has been featured by CNN, The New York Times, Time Magazine, and WebMD, among others, shining a global spotlight on the potential of sound to reduce stress and foster wellbeing. Additionally, she has been the featured interviewee in international publications like The Globe & Mail and other prominent outlets globally for her sound healing research.

    With over two decades of academic and clinical research at UCSD and prior training at Oxford University, Dr. Goldsby specializes in integrative health and the healing mechanisms of sound. Her upcoming projects include multinational collaborations to measure the physiological effects of sound and co-founding an institute with her husband, Dr. Michael Goldsby, dedicated to sound healing and sustainability.

    Sandeep Prakash, Ph.D.

    Sandeep Prakash, Ph.D. is a psychologist, researcher, and innovator exploring how immersive technology, sound, and altered states can open new pathways to healing.

    As Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of SoundSelf, he leads clinical strategy and research on multi-sensory, voice-activated experiences that support mental health, partnering with clinics, training providers, and launching the first large-scale study of immersive digital therapeutics for non-ordinary states.

    His work blends psychedelics, music, and neurotech with psychology, ethnomusicology, and Indigenous healing systems, building on his doctoral research at CIIS on psychedelic virtual reality.

    Based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, he also teaches, advises, and speaks internationally on integrative mental health, psychedelic protocol design, participatory spirituality, and the future of mental health technology.

    Manuela M. Kogon, M.D.

    Dr. Manuela Kogon is an Integrative Medicine Internist in private practice and a Clinical Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Kogon brings her expertise in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and Integrative and Consciousness Medicine to guide patients to approach their health holistically.

    She also brings her knowledge and experience to the scientific research of body-mind physiology. She’s been featured in publications such as Harper’s Bazaar and been a part of research studies surrounding the efficacy of breathwork. Dr. Kogon is the author of When Cancer Visits: How to Free Your Mind from the Grip of Distress and Heal Your Jolted Nervous System.

    Dr. Claudia Aguirre 

    Dr. Claudia Aguirre is the world’s first neuroscientist to work exclusively in the beauty industry, pioneering the exploration of the brain-skin connection in beauty and wellness. Her 2015 TEDx talk shed light on the interconnection between our emotional state and our physical state, a perspective that has not only transformed the approach to skincare but also emphasized the importance of a holistic understanding of beauty, where mental and emotional health play pivotal roles. 

    Dr. Aguirre is on the board of the Sound Wellness Initiative of the Global Wellness Institute, and serves as a strategic board advisor for a number of companies and organizations, including Women's Health MagazineInstitute of NeuroInnovation, Six Senses Hotels & Resorts, and the herbal supplements brand Hilma, bringing scientific rigor to consumer-facing wellness applications.

    Dr. Aguirre is passionate about making science accessible to everyone, traveling globally to share insights on how mental and emotional health impact physical well-being. Her research focuses on extending longevity and vitality, bridging neuroscience with practical wellness applications. Her work has been featured on countless publications, from Vogue to Forbes, and on television shows worldwide.

    Ottavia Lang

    Ottavia “Tay” Lang is a Certified Sound Therapist, Reiki Master, Public Speaker, and Recording Artist. As the founder of Dear Life Chat, she blends science-backed healing with soulful wellness experiences, from corporate sound baths to personal healing journeys. Her work is grounded in lived experience: after overcoming homelessness with her two children and healing from stress-induced heart complications, Tay transformed her pain into purpose, launching Dear Life Chat as a wellness platform to support others in navigating emotional and energetic health.

    She holds degrees in Medical Technology, Organizational Leadership, and Public Service Administration, along with certifications in Sound Therapy, Energy Medicine, Reiki, and Mental Health First Aid. Tay has worked with top organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (the CDC), Google, MTV, NBC, and Piedmont Hospital's Cardiology Center in Atlanta, to name a few.

    Throughout her journey as a sound therapist, she has been honored for her contributions to wellness, including recognition from the Piedmont Hospitals Women’s Heart Association for providing sound therapy to cardiovascular patients. Her work has been featured in publications like New York Weekly, The Atlanta Business Chronicle, The Source Magazine, and on networks like Bravo and NBC. Her sound bath meditation album 5D Matrimony is available on all streaming platforms.

    Isaac Sabu

    Isaac Sabu is a sound technologist, inventor, and founder of Biotune — a frequency therapy and technology ecosystem focused on mental health, transformation, and personalized wellness.

    Originally from Iran, Isaac’s early connection to the healing power of music led him into a 20-year career in audio engineering and immersive tech, including building IMAX theaters and inventing advanced audio products. But it was his own healing journey that reignited the deeper purpose behind his work.

    Through Biotune, Isaac combines real-time biofeedback, therapeutic sound, and results-based frequency programs to help reset the nervous system and support individuals facing PTSD, trauma, and chronic stress. His mission is deeply personal: to make restorative wellness accessible for veterans, refugees, and underserved communities worldwide.

    Guy Yair Beider 

    Guy Yair Beider is a sound meditation facilitator, educator, and Himalayan singing bowl expert exploring how sound, mindfulness, and conscious listening can nourish the body, mind, and spirit.

    As the founder of the internationally recognized Sound Medicine Academy, he has developed pioneering methods for training sound therapy practitioners and meditation teachers. His approach to conscious listening and the facilitation of therapeutic sound journeys is now studied by hundreds of students worldwide.

    Guy’s work blends psychology, musicology, and psychoacoustics with the wisdom of indigenous traditions. Over nearly a decade, he traveled through India, Nepal, and Tibet, hand-selecting and studying thousands of antique singing bowls to refine the art of sonic aesthetics. He has also collaborated with plant medicine facilitators to translate shamanic approaches to sound into the language of modern sound wellness arts.

    Since 2010, he has guided hundreds of meditations in diverse settings—from yoga studios and rehab centers to churches, synagogues, and Carnegie Hall—bringing sound to communities including elders, children, people with PTSD, those with special needs, and recovery groups.
